Susan Thurston, in addition to being a good friend, was always a loyal supporter of the Clifford and District Horticultural Society. She faithfully attended the meetings and events, helping with flower planting and other Horticultural events around Clifford. Our society relied on her to take photographs of events and send them along with Horticultural articles to local media. She presented her ideas for improvements in a thoughtful and logical way.
But being a Minto Councillor should not just be a reward for volunteering but rather includes the ability to thoughtfully present and debate ideas for future improvement of Clifford and Minto in general. Her resume will exemplify her accomplishments, and I have no hesitation in recommending Sue for election to the Minto Council.
